Every Hetk account is now running Sync Engine v3. The migration finished today.
You didn’t have to do anything, and if everything went as planned, you didn’t notice it happening.
Here’s what changed.
Multi-calendar two-way sync now works as intended
We owe you an apology for this one.
Hetk has advertised multi-calendar two-way sync since launch. It worked well with two calendars, but setups with three or more calendars linked in both directions could behave inconsistently.
The old engine wasn’t designed to manage those relationships reliably. Solving the problem required rebuilding it around a single, consistent view of your calendars.
If you have three or more calendars connected in both directions, your setup should now work as originally promised. If you previously switched back to one-way sync because of problems, you can try it again.
What this unblocks
The new engine gives us a safer foundation for the features we’re building next.
- Event filtering — choose which events sync and which remain in their original calendar
- Faster, safer syncs — busy accounts can process changes more efficiently without sacrificing reliability
- Earlier problem detection — the new engine helps us identify inconsistencies before they affect your calendars
These features aren’t all available yet, but the architectural blockers are gone.
Do you need to do anything?
No. Your calendars, connections, sync directions, and settings remain unchanged.
The migration moved Hetk’s internal bookkeeping — not your calendar events. No events were created, edited, or deleted as part of the move.
If something looks wrong, such as a missing event, duplicate, or stalled sync, email [email protected]. Include the calendars involved and the approximate time of the event so we can investigate.

Do I need to reconnect my calendars?
No. Your connections, sync directions, and privacy settings carried over unchanged.
Will event filtering cost extra?
No. Event filtering will be included in your existing plan.
Did my events change during the migration?
No. The migration moved Hetk’s internal sync records, not your calendar events.
