What each plan includes
All three tiers include unlimited calendar syncs, unlimited scheduling links, and the iOS and Android apps. The tiers differ by calendar count and by the administrative features layered on top.
Starter — $60/year per user, 2 calendars
Unlimited syncs and scheduling links for one work and one personal calendar.
Essential — $120/year per user, 5 calendars
The same, at five calendars. This is OneCal’s most popular tier and the one most individuals land on.
Premium — $300/year per user, 50 calendars
Fifty calendars plus the team and administrative features: managed accounts, OIDC/SAML SSO, removal of OneCal branding, and onboarding assistance.
The two things that drive the real bill
Pricing is per user, so a team multiplies. This is the difference that catches people out. Essential is $120/year for one person — and $600/year for five, $1,200/year for ten. The calendar limit is per user too, so a bigger team does not spread the allowance further.
The Essential-to-Premium step is steep for most individuals. Going from 5 calendars to 50 costs $120 to $300 per user per year. If you need 6 calendars, you pay for 50 — and for the SSO and managed-account machinery a single user has no use for.
There is also no permanent free tier, so a minimal setup cannot sit idle between busy periods without being paid for.
The math for five people
Five people, each syncing a work and a personal calendar plus one shared team calendar — inside Essential’s 5-calendar allowance, so no tier upgrade needed:

Hetk prices per account rather than per seat, and does not cap calendars — the limit is how many sync pairs you configure, not how many calendars you attach.
When OneCal is worth its price
Worth stating plainly, because for some teams it is the right buy:
- You need SSO and managed accounts. OIDC/SAML and admin-managed users are real requirements at a certain size, and Hetk has no equivalent.
- You want scheduling links in the same tool. OneCal bundles unlimited booking links. Hetk does not have them.
- You want white-labelling. Premium removes OneCal branding from booking pages.
- You are buying for a team and want per-seat administration. That is what per-user pricing is actually for.
When it is not
If you are one person who wants calendars kept in step, per-user pricing is charging you for a structure you do not use, and the 5-calendar ceiling pushes you toward a $300/year tier built for organisations. That is the case where the gap is widest.

Is OneCal cheaper than CalendarBridge?
At the entry tier CalendarBridge is cheaper ($48/year versus $60/year) and it is priced per calendar rather than per user, so a single person with several calendars often pays less there. No. Cancelling stops future syncing; events already written to your calendars remain. The same applies to Hetk.
